Next thing I know, R&R had never been heard of. I got home from work Friday to find Bruce limping around the back yard. When I finally got ahold of him I realized that his front paw was bleeding quite badly. The bottom of his pad was completely cut in half! The poor thing. I woke up Brooklyn (who of course had just fallen asleep for a nap), had Ethan drive the ambulance over to our house to bandage up his dog and help load the 100 lb animal into the back of my car. We spent almost 5 hours at the Vet! He had to have some heavy duty stitches put in.

Well then there is today. I picked up Brooklyn from the babysitters and she has this horrible runny nose. I thought... oh great another ear infection. So we will see how that progresses. But anyway, I was on the phone making a very important phone call to some stupid company that unneccesarily charged us 70 bucks when I noticed that my child was very very quiet. Now everyone knows that the second you can't hear them they have gotten into something they shouldn't have. And boy did she. She found a pen. Yes, it is even between her toes. I guess I should be grateful that it did not make it to all the walls, ha ha.

And guess what? It's only Monday!!! Yeah.

I can't believe how big your baby is! She is so cute and judging by her adventure with the pen, she may grow up to be an artist!
HAHAHA I'm really enjoying the pen thing because it's not my kid---it's yours. I give you permission to laugh at me when my child does the same. Remember when Kort and her friend drew ALL over the walls in the play room with every marker in the house?!! And remember you and I cleaning it for DAYS with clorox?!! It worked though---but what were the child labor laws?! :)
Hahaha! Brooklyn is so cute. I love it! I'm excited that your coming up here soon. Sorry about your dog.
our dog had the same thing happen...but his pads were completely gone! it was no fun. he was so miserable. i must agree with britt...the pen thing is kinda funny.
that's awesome! My four year old niece just did that to her legs only She was wearing jeans and using a sharpie so it was a bit more permanent.
