Brooklyn Brooklyn Brooklyn

So a few new pictures of Brooklyn. I swear she is just growing up way too fast!

This is what Brooklyn made Ethan for Father's Day. I was really nervous to have her paint, but it didn't turn out too bad. She is such a little girly-girl that the second she would get paint even on a finger she had to stop and wait for me to wipe it off. Ha ha.

Now I promise you that I did not put this on my daughter! Bruce took off his bandage so many times that he had to wear a cone hat for a few days till his foot was all better. And gladly he is 100% healed! Yeah! So when we took the collar off Brooklyn I guess decided that she wanted to be like Bruce. She only wore it for a few minutes and luckily I caught pictures.

And last but not least, Brooklyn's new Big Girl Bed. Brooklyn has been ready for a toddler bed for a while now and we lowered the one side of her crib but felt like she was ready to move on. She has never tried to climb out of her crib or anything so we thought we would give this a shot. We found a good deal on a twin bed and decided to try it out. Well, it is way too much room for the her! Last night we caught her running laps, yes I said laps around her bed! And of course playing 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed. And actually overall it wasn't too bad. She only fell out once trying to get to the baby monitor, but after about an hour she fell asleep. The nap today was not quite as successful. I heard her hitting the wall so I went in there to find that she had climbed up onto the dresser which is about a foot away from the bed and about 2 feet higher! She was sitting there with her legs crossed reading a book looking at me like she had done nothing wrong. (Of course no toddler ever does anything wrong, huh). It took about 2 1/2 hours for her to finally fall asleep. Anyway, it could always be worse. I am glad that she hasn't hurt herself and the Paramedic of the house hasn't had to do any life rescuing lately. I just can't believe how fast she is growing up. When I saw her asleep in that huge bed I couldn't help but cry. Where has my little baby gone?
