Vacation

So now that we have had a few days back at home I thought that I should finish telling everyone about our vacation. It was so nice to see all of our friends and family again. We have missed everyone so much. Brooklyn had a blast on the farm feeding all the animals and helping out. She is definitely not afraid of anything! She walked right up to the animals and tried to give them all hugs! We were able to go through a session and do some sealings at the Twin Falls Temple. That was really nice too, sadly we moved the week before it was dedicated, so it was wonderful to be able to go. Sunday the 2nd was a very special day for our family, it was not only the baby blessing of little baby Rye, but it was the first time that the Mittelstadt kids have all been together since Sadie's wedding about 18 years ago! They were either on their missions or were not able to make it to other occasions, so it was very neat to see them all together again. Sadly our trip ended with a funeral. My dad's brother Matt had passed away earlier in the week and his funeral was on Monday, the day we left. And although it was a sad occasion I was able to finally meet all of my dad's other brothers and sisters. So I guess you could say we had some memorable reunions on our vacation.
