Always come to a COMPLETE stop!
So Ethan got a ticket mailed to us yesterday from one of the traffic light cameras for "running a red light". He was actually turning right on red but didn't stop all the way before he turned. Which is funny in itself because I have been telling him for the last 6 years that one day he would get a ticket for doing this. Anyway, Brooklyn has found this absolutely fascinating! We have talked to her about tickets before but now she knows that they are real and not something mommy and daddy make up when she won't put her seat belt on. Anyway, earlier today we had to go get Ethan some new uniform stuff and boots at a place full of police officers, fire fighters, and paramedics. Brooklyn went straight for the first police officer she saw (which happened to be a state trooper) and said, "Mr. Policeman, my daddy just got a ticket for running a red light!" HA HA HA! Ethan got so embarrassed and simply told her to go with me to the restroom. The officer thought it was funny and said "Little kids are always so honest." I couldn't stop laughing. Then the entire way home Brooklyn pointed out EVERY red light and told Ethan to stop so he wouldn't get another ticket. But I think one of my favorite of her statements today was, "Daddy, do you know how to spell "stop" so you don't get another ticket?" And she is so serious when she is talking about it, which makes it more funny to me. I haven't had to make fun of him once yet! Brooklyn is doing a great job all by herself :) We love you Ethan!

Awesome! I love it!
Good reminder! Oh, BTW I had a dream last night that you found out you are actually expecting twins---a boy AND a girl. So....maybe you wanna double check that :)
lol That is the funniest story! Poor Ethan. Children really do say the darnest thing. :) And I love Britt's comment cause that's what I was thinking just the other day too... Maybe twins are on their way. That'd be crazy for sure! :)
