Uncle Trent & Aunt Carley

Uncle Trent (my little brother) proposed to his girlfriend Carley! And that same week they came for a visit. They flew in Tuesday night, the 10th. It was so wonderful to have them here. We are always homesick and to have family come was a lot of fun. Wednesday, we went down to the Houston Zoo and visited a place where Ethan actually stayed while on his mission as well as had dinner with Trent's mission president. It is still really weird to me that they served in some of the same areas. Poor Abby had a massive double ear infection and was miserable the entire trip down to Houston, but thanks to the amazing preisthood blessing she got that night she felt much better the next day.

Thursday was kind of a rainy day so we stayed at the house and played games. Friday me and Ethan actually were able to go on our first "real" date in over 3 years! It was so nice. We had a couples massage and went out to lunch :) When we got back from that we swam at our neighborhood pool and then went down and walked around the Capitol building and saw the bats down in Austin.

Saturday Ethan took Brooklyn and Trent fishing before we all went to Lake Pflugerville for a BBQ.

Sadly Sunday after church they had to leave :( I am pretty sure the girls wore out Uncle Trent and he was ready to go home ha ha. But we were grateful for the help.

We really enjoyed their visit! We laughed probably the entire time! Hope they can come again soon :) Congrats again on the engagement you guys!!!
