It's A Wonderful Life!

Our life over the last 8 weeks has been an extra bumpy rollercoaster full of a 3 1/2 year old going on 16, a 19 month old potty training, a newborn, a sick dog, and recently extra shifts for Ethan, but boy have there been some wonderful times! We just keep telling ourselves, "One day this will be funny." or "One day we will miss cleaning up poop and puke off of the carpets, baby-powder & lotion soaked toilet paper from every spot in the bathroom, and doing 10 loads of laundry a day because within 5 minutes of putting on clean clothes we are covered in baby spit up and Kyleigh's diaper has exploded." ALL of which has happened at least once in the last 48 hours, ha ha. I tell people that I will probably end up clinically insane, which very well could be true, but boy will it be worth it! There is just something that makes us so proud when Brooklyn reads or writes a new word. Our hearts melt when Abigail says "I love you too" in her hard to understand toddler talk. And something so reassuring about Kyleigh's smile that says "you can do this". We love our little girls!

Kyleigh is growing so fast! She is such a good baby!

I caught Ethan playing dress up with the girls. He is such a good sport.

Brooklyn wrote "Abigail" which was her first whole word written.

Then she wrote "MOM"! I will admit that I cried, then laughed because she answered the question.

For some reason we can't seem to keep Brooklyn in her room at night. When we go to say goodnight we have found her in some weird places for sure! Don't ask why these pictures are all of her asleep in or near the bathroom, it seems to be a favorite for her. Brooklyn can be such a good helper, but she sure does have a snap to her. The other day I was frustrated with her and asked her, "Am I even speaking english?!" She answered, "How should I know, I am not listening to you." I don't have a clue where she gets it ;)

I caught Brooklyn combing lotion and shampoo into Abby's hair. These 2 can be quite the trouble makers.

Can we say, "I want attention!"?

"Hmmm... what can I get into next?"

Hahaha Oh goodness. You have your hands full, but I am sure it is definitely worth it. And you guys are such amazing parents!

Oh heavens! 3 looks complicated! Maybe we shouldn't try to get pregnant on R & R! You're such a good mom! I love that you cried when she wrote "mom". Those are the moments that make the ketchup splatters on our white shirts worth it!
