Christmas was a bit different for us this year. What a week. It started out with a trip to the hospital for me, Brooklyn has had another ear infection and bronchitis, and poor Ethan has been trying to fix our heater for the last 2 weeks. But no worries, the heater is now professionally fixed :), Brooklyn is on her antibiotics, and after 2 rounds of I.V. fluid given to me by my wonderful husband the baby and I are just fine too. We celebrated Christmas Eve on the 23rd because Ethan had to work on the 24th, and then this was the first year that we had no extended family around. That made it pretty hard on all of us, but we enjoyed the day together as a family.
So I guess there are a few pictures that need explaining. Ha ha. First I think is the quilt. Now this quilt was started about 4 1/2 years ago by yours truly, on Ethan's Grandmother's sewing machine, out of mine and Ethan's old jeans! Now it is not the greatest and definitely not the most fancy quilt but I am quite proud of myself for finally finishing it and it is all in one piece. I figured if it didn't get done this year who knows when it would have gotten finished. I believe the next picture that needs explaining is Ethan putting together Brooklyn's Kitchen. Ha ha ha, I was laughing so hard. This was his first Christmas put together project and he was getting so frustrated. It came in like 400 pieces! I can't wait to see what Santa brings for him next year :) . Now to explain Buda... So it was sort of a joke of my parents. When we were first looking at this house my parents were here and we took them to see it. And the first thing my dad said as we walked into the kitchen was, "See, here is the perfect little spot to put your Buda doll." They are so funny! It has been over a year that we have been in the house and we finally have one! Ha ha. I think that is all the explaining I needed to do. Anyway, we really want to thank everyone for the wonderful gifts. It was a very nice Christmas. We love you all! And I want to give a special thank you to my amazing husband for all his hard work and help. I am getting slower and slower and he seems to pick up all of my slack. Merry Christmas Ethan and Brooklyn. I love you guys so much!

I'm glad you had a nice Christmas! I'm sad you weren't here to spend it with everyone. Oh, and I sent you guys a Christmas gift so so so so late. So think of it as a New Year's gift, because that's probably when it will get there. LOL
