Our Little Girls

First, Brooklyn had her surgery this last monday. Tubes in, and adnoids out. She did very well (much better then me). She didn't cry going back with the drs or anything, I cried the entire time. But she has been such a trooper and seems to be doing very well. The dr told us that it was pretty yucky inside and it was definetly affecting her hearing and most likely her speach. Hopefully in the next few weeks we should see some big improvements with that as well as her health.
Second, it looked like this pregnancy was going to end a little bit easier then the last and things were progressing faster then normal. Until today, which was somewhat expected because the last one was so tough, but a little frustrating. Last week we were a little over 70% effaced and dialated to a 2, and this week we are barely 70% and a 1. So somehow we are going backwards. We were also told today that the baby's cord is on top of her head and things could be very dangerous if my water broke and that was pinched off. So we have gone from, GET THIS BABY OUT to STAY UNTIL THE CORD MOVES or WE HAVE A C-SECTION. We have a c-section scheduled for the 18th at noon, which will most likely be how this all happens. To look at the bright side I guess, I only have 12 days left!!!!! But as long as she is born healthy, all is well and worth it!
