Brooklyn

Oh Brooklyn... Sometimes she is the funniest kid and the next second she has pushed every one of my spare buttons.
Here are some of the funny things that she has said in the last week:

1. "Mom, I need to go to the bank." "Why?" I ask. "I need to get some money." "What for?" "I need to get some money for dad." "What does your dad need money for?" "I don't know, I will just go to the bank later, don't worry about it." (Wouldn't that be nice if we could just go to the bank and get money when we wanted it?)
2. "Mom, my tummy hurts." "Are you hungry Brooklyn?" "No, it hurts like dog poo poo." (I am very grateful that she doesn't know the other word for poo poo)
3. "Mom, daddy has to go to work so that the babies can get new pacifiers." "Is that all daddy has to work for? What about all of our bills?" I ask. "No mom, only pacifiers are lots of money." (Ya could have fooled me, those must be pacifiers made out of gold!)
4. Her latest thing she gets from her daddy. When I ask for something to be done for Abby, the answer is, "It's O.K. She's not crying yet. She is still fine." (The goal is not to let it be Not fine.)

Brooklyn will say something funny like this and the next minute she is trying to feed Abby dog food, or hiding behind the couch eating the dog food herself, lifting Abby up onto the couch, locking herself in bedrooms and bathrooms, coloring on my kitchen floor, or like last night, dumping an entire bottle of new shampoo into the bath tub so she can play in the bubbles. Raising kids is so much fun! You never know what the next minute will be like? I really do love my litte girls though! They mean everything to me, and life would be just boring without it all:)
